CAPSAICIN 2078 discuses a future which has been drastically influenced by the medical decision to grow many more jalapeños due to their health benefits. However it didn't take long for people to get addicted to the adrenaline rush of the spice.
The project critically combines many practices from Big Pharma that we experience today. Not enough testing, medical price and access control as well as creation of black markets. The discovery of capsaicin has caught a real stir up in the medical community for its potential for many medical benefits and even it's ability to kill cancer cells. However, other research suggest it can also be very harmful, 11grams will kill you.
The project was executed as a video/audio format along with acting. This helped the audience really arrive in our speculative world and take in a future controlled by jalapeños.
